ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE


Sarvadhana is governed by five members Executive Committee and guided by an Advisory Council of 15 members from all walks of life who are committed to the social cause and has adequate knowledge and experience. All Sarvadhana activities are coordinated from the main Service Center situated at Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India.
SARVADHANA is not affiliated with any partly politics, or any religion. Maintaining the status as a secular voluntary peoples movement, functioning with local and international contributions and support.
Sarvadhana works from the attitude of: "I love my people as my own blood, flesh and soul. I feel the sufferings when my people suffer. When my people feel that they are helpless and insecure, I commit myself to empower them, to find the real people's strength. Neither we re cowards nor we are worthless. We can build our future in a better when we are together".

In 1985 the Sarvadhana General body had 25 members, joined together from all walks of life. In 1990 it had increased to 50 persons. The general body elects the Executive committee once every 5 years.

The Chairperson and the treasurer work full-time in the organization.

Advisory council
The 15 members council consists of "well wishers" of the organization. The role of the council is to give guidance and support to the organization, so that operates along the lines of the established objectives and commitments.

The present members are all well known in their respective field. Teachers, doctors, community health trainers, lawyers, bankers, social activists, government personnel, farmers, women leaders and traders are the professions represented in the council.

Full time and part time workers
Over the past 10 years, Sarvadhana has employed more than 150 fulltime workers and nearly 1000 part time workers, for various lengths of time.
