I
noticed that everybody recommends a high tire pressure at the front and a
lower pressure at the rearweels. The fiat coupe is as a frontwheel driven
car, with a quite heavy nose, to be charactered as a understeer car. To neutralize
this/directing it to oversteer one should reduce the lack of grip at the
frontside by reducing the grip at the rearside; therefore you reduce the
contact from the tire to the tarmac by increased pressure of the rearside
tires.

to the directional tread pattern, the handling is now very entertaining,
because i still have the original Pzero tyres at the rear, total mileage

I bought the car 2nd hand, the car was fitted with Pirrelli P5000 fronts
and with the original Pzero at the back. The car felt good, but the front
tyres suffered from pronounced shoulder wear despite high tyre pressures.

best choice is still Pzero ( like on Ferrari's cars ). the assimetric structure
remains the best structure for maximum grip. 30000 Kms front rears - For
rear' i am at 87000 Kms with the first set.
